Sonnenschein Capital, LLC was formed in Chicago in 2003.  The firm acquired and syndicated net-leased income producing properties in strategic locations in central Europe.  From 2004 to 2014, the principals of Sonnenschein Capital co-invested alongside our friends and family network of over 200 investors to assemble a boutique portfolio of properties in Switzerland that comprised over CHF 450,000,000 of gross asset value.  Sonnenschein offered a turn-key investment platform for an investor to diversify away from the U.S. Dollar at a time of weakness vs. strategic currencies and into solid, conservatively-based income producing assets in international markets where growth and yield surpassed the typical U.S real estate investment. 

The Sonnenschein portfolio of properties was sold in 2014.  Our investors have stayed on as clients.  In 2015, the two remaining principals of Sonnenschein Capital created SC/CA Ventures, LLC, an entirely separate company which carries on the same traditions and business practices as Sonnenschein Capital.  SC/CA is a joint venture partnership with CA Ventures, LLC.  CA Ventures is a Chicago based real estate investment management company whose international portfolio includes $7.8B in assets throughout the U.S., Latin America and Europe.  SC/CA is responsible for investor relations, strategic planning and facilitating the friends and family equity for the CA Ventures pipeline of developments.  Our talented, experienced partners and our friends and family network of investors are our greatest assets.
